Australian govt welcomes end to asylum-seeker standoff

The Australian Government says it's pleased a standoff involving a group of asylum seekers on board the Oceanic Viking is over.
The remaining Sri Lankans have now left the Australian Customs ship off the Indonesian coast.
The 78 Sri Lankans were rescued from their sinking boat four and a half weeks ago.
Australia's Home Affairs Minister, Brendan O'Connor, says the asylum seekers will now have their refugee claims processed.
He says the men will be escorted to the Indonesian detention centre where they'll be accommodated, while the women and children will stay in an adjacent building while their processing is conducted.
