Three die in southern Thailand attacks

Suspected Islamic insurgents have shot dead three people in separate incidents in Thailand's troubled south.
Police say all three were Muslims.
A Buddhist man is also said to have been shot three times in a drive-by attack, but survived with serious injuries.
More than 4,000 people have been killed and thousands more wounded in Thailand's Muslim-majority provinces bordering Malaysia since the insurgency erupted in early 2004.
